If anything deserves the honor of closing Mario Kart 8‘s life out, it’s this. It’s not just one of the best versions of Rainbow Road, but one of Mario Kart’s best tracks period. Beyond that, though, the Wii’s Rainbow Road is a colorful space odyssey filled with boost gates, branching paths, shortcuts, and spectacular jumps. The excellent track gets the edge thanks in no small part to its Super Mario Galaxy theming, giving it even more star power than usual. There are also some pipe cannons and moving platforms that the player will have to use to advance. They both collide in the middle of the fort. This tower contains two giant Spike Pillars on the floor and ceiling of the tower. It’s a toss-up between the Double Dash and Wii versions, but the latter gets my vote. World 6-Fortress is a level found in New Super Mario Bros. While there are several iterations of Rainbow Road already in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it’s only fitting that its final track be another incarnation of it. The Para-Beetle will sail up into the coin and you can dismount onto the platform to the right.įor this coin you'll probably need Yoshi. Get on a Para-Beetle two or three Star Coin-widths to the right of the coin's position above. This coin is high above a row of Para-Beetles. The Heavy Para-Beetle naturally sink but you'll need to get on somewhat early to make it to the coin. When you see this coin far below near the start of the level, take the Heavy Para-Beetle down to it.
